McGraw-Hill 1991, minus the chapters involving matrix algebra, plus chapters on string
processing, rudimentary graphics, integration, and formula evaluation and manipulation.
The material included from the earlier book is now obsolete, replaced by C++
Toolkit for Engineers and Scientists, Second edition,
